Kohinoor is a 2014 Nepali action-drama film that remains one of the most iconic movies in Nepal’s film industry. Directed by Akash Adhikari, the movie stars legendary actor Shree Krishna Shrestha and talented actress Shweta Khadka in the lead roles. Actors Mithila Sharma and Samrat Sapkota also play significant supporting roles. The film was officially released on August 8, 2014, and became an instant hit among audiences.

The story revolves around Kohinoor (Shweta Khadka), who is sold to a brothel in Mumbai by human traffickers. Abhishek (Shree Krishna Shrestha) encounters Kohinoor during a business trip to Mumbai, and the narrative explores their ensuing relationship and challenges.

Tragically, this film marks the last performance of actor Shree Krishna Shrestha, who passed away shortly after its release.
